Community Gardens
A pedestrian entrance near the main gate leads into a sheltered garden area. There are a number of seats here where people like to relax and enjoy the sunshine.
Alongside runs a small border of plants that provide natural habitats for butterflies, bees and other insects, created by Friends of Kings Park and the Stirling High School Eco Group.
The Handkerchief Tree
Pupils from Stirling High School planted a handkerchief tree here with Friends of Kings Park, as part of the Queen's Green Canopy. It flowers in late spring, when its large white bracts hang like handkerchiefs along the branches.
