Friends of Kings Park wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA standard.

The site uses high-contrast text, resizes cleanly on phones and tablets, works with the keyboard, and includes a “skip to content” link. The interactive trail map is an enhancement: every stop is also listed as plain text with a description, so the walks can be followed without the map or JavaScript.

Some historical images carry only a short descriptive title as their alternative text. The map itself is a visual feature; the stop list is provided as the accessible alternative.
